Sunday Adult Bible Class
Every Sunday from September to May we hold an adult Bible class on Sunday following the Divine Service, starting around 10:45 am. Coffee and snacks are also provided at that time. In Bible class we take Scripture seriously as the true word of God, which is the only rule and norm for faith and life. Our Bible studies, then, seek to be focused on learning the Word of God and applying it to our lives. Bible class is inspired by the words of St. Paul, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Ti 3:16–17 ESV).
Bible class is always led by the pastor who has studied deeply and prepared thoroughly for each topic. Discussion and questions are encouraged during Bible class so that we can all be built up together. We alternate between topical studies and verse-by-verse expositions of books of the Bible. All are welcome to join us!
Youth Sunday School
Give your children the gift of biblical literacy! Bring them to our youth Sunday School. Our Sunday School is open to children in 1st through 12th grade. Sunday School is held at the same time as our adult Bible class. We focus especially on teaching our children the most important biblical narratives which serve as a foundation for our faith and life.
Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies
We hold separate men’s and women’s Bible studies so that we can build each other up in our respective vocations. The men’s study is held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm. The women’s study is held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm. Both classes are taught by the pastor.
